Packages or items damaged in transit must be reported immediately to the carrier. The customer must initiate all damage claims. Damaged items will be inspected by the carrier's representative and returned to us. Original shipping carton and packaging are necessary for proper inspection.

A 15% Restocking Fee will be charged on all items returned due to errors in ordering, duplication or dissatisfaction in customer choice. Exchanging an item for one of equal or greater value waives the restocking fee. All returned items must be UNUSED, in their original packaging, resellable and accompanied by a letter of explanation. No Returns Accepted For Any Reason after 10-days. All returned items for MUST have return authorization from The Train Shoppe, 334 North Pennsylvania Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702 BEFORE they are returned to us or they will be refused!
